You know when you’re really young. Like really young, and you’re playing on the playground and when other kids are mean to you, the advice most teachers give you is “always be yourself.” and that’s kind of hard to understand, even now. I think most people think their identity is what they wear or who they sit with at lunch and things like that. But I think, what makes you, you is how you treat people. So just, be nice to people.

13 days taylor swift ▬ day 02 favorite song from ‘fearless’ album
↳ you’re not sorry

→ So you don’t have to call anymore
I won’t pick up the phone
This is the last straw
There’s nothing left to beg for
And you can tell me that you’re sorry
But I won’t believe you baby like I did before

Music has taken me all over the world, but the fans are the reason it’s been so magical. I’m so blown away by how nice they are to me. It’s strange to feel so understood by such a large group of people, but I love it. [x]

For me, great music doesn’t just have to fall into one category or one genre and I love appreciating all kinds of music.

As I grow older, I hope I can continue to rely on gut feelings and continue to be self-aware. Self-awareness is usually the first thing to go when people lose touch. So ideally I can keep my wits about me.

When you're singing you can hear the echo of people in the audience singing every single word with you, and that was that big dream that I had for myself. It's happening. - Taylor Swift
